ABOUT AZURA MARINE
Established in Singapore in 2012, Azura Marine consciously designs & builds Eco-Friendly Yachts, launching symbols of harmony between the Ocean & Outgoing Humanity.
After nearly a decade of R&D in hydrogen and solar electric marine propulsion by our Engineers and Naval Architects and a historical solar-powered voyage validating our concepts over thousands of miles in open seas, we have launched in 2018 our range of catamarans "Aquanima" combining solar, wind and electrical propulsion.
Modern technology provides us with the opportunity to protect our planet whilst enhancing the experience of our marine leisure activities. We believe in harnessing natural energy to ensure that our vessels have minimal impact on the ecology and marine life.
Our unique designs, the results of over 15 years of intensive research and experimentation, enable full solar generated operating power for our vessels with no reliance on fossil fuels.
Our expertise is in capturing the suns energy, harnessing and managing that energy and enabling its depolyment through highly advanced and efficient hulls which limit drag and resistance.
The vision of Azura Marine is to end the reliance of ocean going vessels on fossil fuels through the utilisation of modern technology and advanced hydrodynamics.
Our journey started more than 15 years ago when our founders were researching and testing solar and hydrogen technologies leading to them eventually becoming some of the world's leading exponents of these technologies.
The company was established in 2012 in Singapore as Azura Marine Pte Ltd where its head office is still located today.
Our first concept vessel, Surya Namaskar, was built in Bali in 2016, and was tested and sailed several thousands of nautical miles across Indonesia and is successfully operating every week.
